Re: More MOMO Steering Wheels...

The wheel looks great and matches all the other little bits in the car. Ashtray, shifter, HVAC knobs, etc. I for one like my airbag so it is not for me. But it does not make that wheel look any worse. That interior is much better looking than mine. If you like it go for it, to each his own.

I'm going to order a Momo so I can be both cool and safe too! Thank God for this Board...just imagine missing the opportunity to be the coolest ricer with a Momo steering wheel and being safer in the bargin. Where is my gun...I feel like playing Russian Roulett today...it's very cool and really impresses people and makes me very macho. Safety is for wimps...above all else be cool.

Sooo....Are you saying that all the GenI guys are playing "russian roulet" and are ricers? Boy, you just can't help being an ********, can ya?

Read my first post ********! You just can't help showing people how stupid you are can you? What does your foot look like in your ********? Please post a pic along with your Momo so I can be impressed.

Read my first post ********!

I read your first post, it was an expression of your opinion, and very professional...But in your second post you decided to become an ******, which I took offense to...but this is your style...So thanks for your opinion, we get it, you are keeping your airbag...What others do is really none of your business...

Do you see a difference between you first post and your second??? Please don't respond, I am speaking facetiously...

Gerald..I do think that the GEN I wheel is MOMO made.

I even removed my stock buckle so I would always wear the 4 pt SABELT seat belt....much safer than the stock belt.

Gawd, how many of you people never leave your homes for fear of having an accident? Some of you are so fanatical about safety it contradicts the ownership of a 450hp monster. How many of you ever track your Viper??? Better stop, it’s dangerous. Maybe you should wrap yourselves in a cocoon and have yourself assisted into your Vipers before you go to the grocery store. That sounds like fun.

Jeeze guys, ******** the 5 points, a helmet, drive safe, smart and fast and go have some fun in your life. None of you are gonna live forever.

Right, exactly, and like Janni said:

If you are wearing 5/6 point harnesses on the street suitably tightened, then the airbag is superfluous - you won't even come close to it - which is why most folks disable them on the track. Viper Days driver who did not, was able to watch his airbag deploy and deflate all from the safety of his 5 points... It didn't come within 6 inches of him.........

Anyone find a solution to get the light to turn off?? Does pulling the #9 fuse work?

I looked into the Airbag Deactivation Jumpers and they are only available if you prove a medical reason for having it turned off. :(

Don't forget to call your insurance company and let them know you took out your driver airbag. I'm sure they will agree that you are now just as safe or safer without it. Maybe you can refer them to the Sheriff. Anyway, I'm sure they will now give you an additional discount on your premium. Can you say insurance fraud or policy cancellation? Now that is really cool!
