Before everyone goes 'I told you he didn't push the car to it's limits! He was talking the whole time during that lap and looking at the camera!' That was just a demonstration lap and they attached his fastest time achieved at the end. Hellova car I must say. Wish I had the coin to purchase one new. I will have to wait a couple years for a used one unfortunately.

Randy doesn't understand the Viper and neither does Carlos. Hell, listen to them. Not a 'torqui' engine, but a high revving engine???

There is just so much more in this car... Lower it down a little bit and work on the suspension tuning and add a Viper driver:2tu: Just imagine this beast in ACR trim...

On the front brakes. SRT should at least went with 15 inch (2 piece rotor) with a 6 piston caliper..

If you turn off the sound and watch the face of the initial driver, his facial expressions show that he is having a great time. Isn't that what the car is about? Both drivers basically say the same thing. The Viper is a "driver's car" which is more controllable than it used to be but still challenging. The comment regarding the brakes is a fair one. The comment regarding engine sound is a fair one. A Viper will never have the wonderful sound of a high powered V8 at idle. It has a different sound that has improved a bit with some exhaust tuning in the Gen V but is still limited by the nature of the V10 cylinder firing sequence. As for comfort, I really do not get what he is talking about. I find my Viper very comfortable.

"Comic book styling" Ahhh that would be the Camaro for sure, not the Viper. But it is a feat to get a V10 sounding good even with 640 HP. Owners will change the exhaust like they always have to get it meaner sounding.

The bit about the high revving engine was pretty cool too:2tu: Rest assured it's the best sounding 8.4 liter V10 !

Comic Book or Cartoonish styling seems to be the de facto boiler plate space filling comments in ever Viper review. The Viper has retro styling inspired by two of the most desirable valuable collector cars ever... The Cobra Daytona and Ferrari GTO while the 911 is inspired by the VW beetles and the Vette looks like a viper Wannabe with some sort of pheasant under glass thing going on:rolleyes::D Back to my eggnog now:lmao:

We'll see if SRT applies Ferrari's policies......When someone gives a bad review about Maranello's car, he's put on a black list.....:headbang:

I just noticed in this video, when he drag races it from 2:30-2:55 mark... He had a passenger in the car while announcing/running 11.4 @128.7 time.

He had a passenger in the car while announcing the e.t. but that doesn't mean that he actually ran that time on that take or at all.
