Move to Gen V?

Seriously thinking about making the move from my 2010 Gen IV to a 2015 Gen V. Hard to decide because I love my current vert. Toxic orange with black stripes, full tan leather interior, custom audio, and only 2500 miles. Thoughts?

Be happy with what you have and quit being so selfish. Buy the Gen V for someone who is less fortunate than you (I can help you find someone)!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you need to use your current Viper as a trade in. I wouldn't do it. Take your wife to dinner, really focus on her needs for a couple of weeks. Be attentive, and most important ACT SINCERE. Step outside your comfort zone and take her to that stupid ass Beach Boys movie that just came out "Love and Mercy". Cuddle on the couch. Talk to her about how life is short and you just want to enjoy the rest of your life with her. After about two weeks of this, you'll notice a dramatic change in her attitude. She will be floating around happy as can be. Then...mercilessly do whatever it takes to pull the trigger on the Gen5 and keep the vert.

Thanks. I'd love to have both but really not practical. Wife has no issue with whatever I decide since I'm the one who has to pay!

I think I need to find someone in the Atlanta area who can link up with me and let me get a feel for the Gen V before I decide. I'm already looking at one but trying to figure out the best move for my current one....sell, trade, etc.

Hahaha, owning ONE Viper isn't "practical". You should list it in the classifieds here and see if you get any bites. Seems like a low mile 2010 vert as well taken care of as yours would fetch mid to high $60k's <<<(I think?)

I think the biggest question you have to ask is whether or not you are happy with the Gen IV? If you are happy with it, maybe it's not worth it.

My style is more, get something different. I started with a Honda S2000, then thought, "Man, I'd really like a cool car to drive in the winter." Our winter is wicked and long up here in Canada, so a cool winter car made sense. I kept the S2000, and bought a WRX STi, which I've modded heavily. That car rocks, but then I thought, "I need a 'man's car' for the summer", and the search went on for a year and a half, I kept the Honda and Subie and picked up the Gen V GTS. Which I absolutely love, and of course is a far superior car to the other two, but they have their advantages (my wife drives the S2000 now and seems to like it). Next on the horizon, I think I'd like something European, perhaps a Porsche, or a Lotus Elise, I'm not sure......

If you like to have variety, and you really like the car you have, I'd just find something else to set your sights on. If not, you can't go wrong with the Gen V. It is fantastic.
