Just add the $3,000 gas guzzler tax to it for the real price.

$79,995 PLUS

GG tax +$3000 Delivery +$900 Lux tax +$900 Sales tax +$300 Property tax +$2000 (in my state) tags +$100 And the guys in the auto rags are saying "as tested price" about $80,000. Sorry, my calculator said " $87,195 " in my driveway. I said I'll pass.

Just wait and pay 10K to 15K+ less for a used one. That's a lot of mod money!

Just wait like a year... 10-15k off is a little dream like, in the short term. There are confirmed people with cash in hand 20k premiums on the car (won't name names).

I've been waiting for the price of an H2 to come down, this is a car with 30k being made the first year, it's been 3 months, people are still getting premiums (not much admittedly), used ones are going for list and above (due to no wait, presumably)...

If you want one, get one through the cert process, if you don't, don't but certainly don't count on getting a bargain anytime soon.

At VOI, the SRT tech session, it was said that they were able to improve gas mileage on the SRT and the Gas Guzzler tax will be reduced. Also the Lux tax is gone in less than 3 months. What you have left is taxes & tags. If you ordered your SRT from some of the VCA friendly dealers listed here they were quoting prices of $500 to $1000 over invoice (between $76k to $77K). Adding it together I see it as $80k to $82k in your driveway.
