You know the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!" Silly, silly me. I put in for the yellow VCA SRT knowing full well that I would not be drawn. I mean really, I can't even win a coin flip. So with that in mind, I knew that they were just BS'ing me yesterday when they called. "Hey, let's screw with Chris and tell him he was drawn for the SRT!" Yeah, they are still chuckling over that in Detroit I'll bet.
Lo and behold, they did indeed draw my name among several others. And then quickly drove home this very important fact: I cannot afford two Vipers. So it is with great reluctance that I must part with one of the most photographed and perhaps one of the very strongest stock SRT-10's to grace this planet. Here is my most recent dyno, with only K&N's:
The car has 6800 loving miles, but will clip 7000 this weekend for the Whiteman Air Force Base event. You know, the one that yields pictures like this:
I am very, very proud of this car and will ask $69,995 for it. Price includes the MGW goodies (don't know what the yellow SRT has for an interior yet) and at least one CD with hundreds of pictures that I shot of this car in various locations and settings. Chances are good it may appear in VIPER magazine at some point with a few of these pictures (with the tank, in the fog, etc.). The new owner can then say, "Hey, that's my car!!" while I sob quietly in the corner...
I will post full details and plenty of pictures on the VCA Classifieds very soon, assuming it doesn't sell before I get the chance (already had a couple inquiries from word of mouth). My pain is your gain!
