My '09 ACR now in the classifieds

It's funny how life evolves. If you'd asked me a year ago if I would EVER sell this car I would have laughed in your face. But now, a year later, I find that I don't have the time to enjoy the car like I used to and that makes it hard to justify keeping it.

So my solid yellow, 1 of 4 ACR is up for sale. It's been a heck of a ride

I'm asking $75k which includes the 7/70 transferable warranty. I'll put the stock hood back on it unless someone is particularly fond of the CF hood and wants it as well for a small additional sum. I genuinely hope it goes to someone in the club, or at the very least to someone who will join the club and help make it run for awhile. I have a little wiggle room on the price, but as it was almost a 6-figure car when I bought it 18 months ago, I can't let it go for too much less than my asking price.

Kelly, I think the responsible thing to do is get back into a much cheaper GTS, and then the financial responsibility doesn't weigh so heavy on you.

LOL. You guys are awesome and I'll miss this place a bunch. I may end up back in a Viper some day, but recently I have less and less time to get it out of the garage and enjoy it unless I want to drive it to work, which is a BORING commute even in a Viper. I put huge amounts of thought into this and lost more than a nights sleep over the decision, believe me. In the mean time....spread the word!!! There's a 600 HP monster here that needs a good home with someone who'll drive it like a ***** ape, just like it was meant to be driven.

Kelly, that's bummer news. I know how you feel, I have less and less time for cars and trucks that I have just sitting.

The only good thing is as I walk by them, they always put a smile on my face, even if I'm not driving them. With the new ACR record I think that the worldwide demand for your ACR's will go up.....just look at how many people have visited our site in the last week. Good luck with the sale.

In all honesty, I made the same decision as you, when my 04Cummins Ram 3500 went 2 months ago. Never though I'd do it, but I did it. My DD now is an 07 Grand Marquis. Actually, like you, I am not really driving either the Bee or the Viper that much, but when I want them, I want them. I'm really sorry you have to let it go, but I bet you'll be back. If I could afford it, I would buy it, but it's just a liiitttllle (ok, ALOT!!!!) out of my price range

Exactly what I would like to do
This will be a huge loss for our Region as well. Kelly is VP and would have made an incredible Regional President when the current President's term is up.
Knowing Kelly as well as I do I'm sure he is making this decision for all the right reasons and has thought it through.
I also think he will be back at some point.
