I get a lot of questions about my old carbon fiber dash. Where i got it, who made it etc, etc. I wanted to let everyone know who would be able to get it done for you.

Unfortunately the company that did my dash is no longer in business. The dash it self was 'dipped' in to the carbon fiber material that is wrapped around it. It is NOT reall carbon fiber. The finished product looked great and after 5 years as I got rid of my car I had not issues with chipping or any other imperfections.

On the good note I had another company re-do my entire interior on my Escalade and recover all the red wood with black wood. The process they use is exactly that same as the other company that did my viper dash and if you go on their website you can learn about their process and see that they can do any type of finish and color. The finished product came out better then I expected.

Im am in no shape or form attached to this company nor do I benefit from any business that this might get them. Im simply revealing a good source for interior modifications to my fellow members.

Check out my Viper interior and my Escalade interior pics below and IM me for company website as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here because they are not a vendor.

I included a couple of extra pics of the Lack it self. TONS of mods :headbang:

Looks great, and the door panels were just dyed? Or actually replaced leather? Now... if it does get damaged can you remove it and go back to stock?

Where is a link to the site?

Hydro dipping is pretty cool. All that interior would need is a new wheel.

What is satin/matte black in the background of the Escalade picture?

That was my old GTS. In that pic i just got my diamondback hood and it was not painted yet. The car was a 99 GTS painted all white.

I love the black wood in the Escalade, looks great!

What's a general cost of that? My fiancé has a CTS with the red wood, and that black wood would look 100x better!

:rolleyes:Because there are companies out there that actually do a realistic job, such as MAcarbon - Carbon Fiber For Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini - MAcarbon Custom Carbon Fiber: Order Original Carbon Fiber Car Parts who will wrap the parts. I figure do it right or don't do it at all, but I guess we all don't think that way. :bdh:

Your right but there is also something called a budget and spending a few grand on a Carbon Fiber Viper dash, that is not even made by anyone, is just a waste. To each is own and the carbon fiber "LOOK" was enough for me.

MaCarbon is a great company with great products and Ive bought parts from them for my Murcielago, but only because they are cheaper then the dealer but still way overpriced in my opinion.

As far as the black wood there isn't a company that makes "real wood" part replacements for any car unless your going with the factory components where a certain car came with different wood options.

I made this thread because I had a lot of members asking me about my dash and wanted the source not about what anyone thought about the finished product.

The wood probably wasn't real to begin with and the carbon looks just as plasticy as the oem dash so what is the big deal? :rolaugh:

Your right. The factory GM wood trim is a JOKE. The new stuff looks a million times better. The viper dash dipped in carbon fiber looks so much better in real life then in that picture.
