They come with 04's (or will be shipped later)

I will have to get it out, it's still in the box. All I can say right now is that it is black and comes in a soft (leather???) bag.

It is one piece, the ends are hard and fit/pop under various items to hold it in place. No snaps. No part # with it.

I spoke with Mike R. yesterday and he mentioned that DC might not be including the boot with the 04's anymore. Can you please confirm this. I just purchased the black 04 you posted and was wondering if the boot was included.

My car was delivered Nov. 6 2003, it is a 2004 and the window sticker did have it listed.....so I think both Gene and Greg will have one coming.

Just got mine in the mail,took a minute to throw on (easy) Looks oem to me,plus you get a goodie bag to put it in. Mine is a 04 no doubt all 04 owners will receive one.

Okay. I'm looking at the sticker of my 04 Viper and I don't see the boot anywhere Car was built 3/04 so I wonder if the cars made after Jan 04 will not include them???

Under optional equipment it shows "Customer Preferred Package 21A" Do you guys know what this is?

Does the boot make you go faster? I'd have to pay. A boot and trunk carpet could slow me down. My 03 would look nice with one. How Heavy and post pics. thanks

The D-C piece is thinner, lighter, goes on easy. Has plastic arms that cover hinges. Storage bag. MSRP $560, most VCA dealers $449. Nationwide back Order.

PartsRack has nicer, heavier guage vinyl. Takes extra 10 minutes to install the first time. No storage bag. No plastic. {$325. In Stock.} Some folks will prefer OE just because it is OE ! And more 'expensive'

Many Many owners of 04s received a LETTER before they received the boot.
They also recieved a complimentary "SRT-History" with that letter. If you got the letter you will certainly "Get The Boot"

Im sure owners of both will sell one or the other! If you were NOT the original owner on the MSO (brokered cars?) I suspect these will be on bay of pigs very soon.....

Hmmm ... I might just be the first VCA member to offer up a DC piece for sale.
