Since some of y'all have been asking about them, here they are!

1TONY1 was driving the car beautifully at the crappy Atlanta Dragway track...

Enjoy!

How do I make these links work again?

Sorry Tony, maybe next time! That 10.20 isn't so easy to beat after all, huh?

Actually if you want to drag your pos down here , I will kick it's ass allllll day long in my f-body @ 3800 lbs.....hell, I will even leave the air on  How about them apples ???? In fact, I've got $500 bucks that says I will outrun you in my GTS or Josephs car 1/4 mile. All you have to do is show up down here. You can drive or get somebody else....doesn't matter.
p.s. No where did I say a nine second pass would be easy....I think I know way more than you do how hard it is in a real street car.

p.s. Is it a 10.20 or a 10.22 ???? Is it going to be a 10.18 next time ????

EDIT: GaryA is in at a 10.20 .... my bad....I was thinking of roofs 10.22, my apologies That's like the third time I have ever been wrong :)

hahahaha!! 10.20

Let me quote you:

"I wouldn't set on that BIG BIG .02 lead.....cause it won't last long"

It might not last long, but it HAS lasted 7 months. You had your chance with an 850 rwhp Viper to show what YOU can do. You started this, now prove you can do it, and hurry up!! The track couldn't have been too bad, because a BTR Viper did make a 9 second run on the same track that night, right?

FYI: I wasn't talking about Josephs car...I was talking about my pos.

Also let me quote myself from the same thread:

"I never doubted your run/time/claims of no n02. And yes I know you still have the quickest s/c car...I have no problem with that..congrats. "

That was really nice of me.
Your post here just kinda ticked me off that you are hijacking Josephs thread.
Let me redo my challange, My car vs yours, you drive, my home turf, I will pay your room and fuel expenses, my $1000 to your $500

lol - you guys duke it out! That'd be a good race.

Back on topic - I'm impressed with Josephs graph - 700rwtq plus from 3500rpm to almost 6000rpm - now THAT is a fat torque curve folks! Yes sireeee

Francisco,

It's where the HP comes in at that mostly seperates it I've noticed, the I, II's and III's.. of course, the higher the package the more hp though.. but it doesn't seem by too much..

Gerald,

Can you explain 'where the HP comes in at' comment? What I'm looking for is how the power delivery differs between the Level I, II, and III's.

1st - congrats on the hp #'s and 1TONY1 excellent driving as usual.

2nd - hell, I'll add to the *** to see A 9 sec. pass in a s/c car. So if anyones is interested just give me a shout and tell me the time and place. This needs to happen. 800+ rwhp and still being dusted by a nawz car. No flame to anyone specifically. Just tired of reading all the keyboard racing. After seeing some of the cars run in BG,I realize 9 seconds is a difficult task, but I don't believe it is related to lack of hp, but instead to a lack of seat time. Dr Roof's car is very capable of 9 seconds as well as others. It's just a matter of getting to the track and having a good track and conditions.

Congrats to all again.

The guage shows ~11lb of boost. The sick thing is that we were talking about running 14 but then we decided at the last minute to tune it down... I wish I could say that we expected this much power w/ 11, but that was NOT the case.

Car drives like a normal daily-driver, too. And it's quiet (as quiet as ballengers and borla w/ cats can be).

The ultimate sleep car as far as I'm concerned.

Gary A,
1TONY1 had never been behind the wheel of JD's car  he never had any practice or seat time to take it down the track.
He just jumped in and went :) .
From what I understand your track numbers were achieved on a closed rented track ... am I not right? I would like to see what 1TONY1 could do if he had more time to test the car. With a line-lock installed this time ;)
I bet with a little tweaking he could have done much better. Still, you guys are all amazing :D

Congrats JD have fun and be safe. Cold weather is just around the corner, combine that with some more practice from Tony and it'll be knocking on 9's door

Speaking of this, I went to work early this morning (like 6am) and payed the toll over at GA 400... then I opened it up out of the booth and there is a cop waiting for me with his lights out under the bridge... yowee! He threw his lights on but then turned them off an didn't pull out.

phew!

I was worried alright.

Car drives like it is stock... except for the thrash-the-neck-back-accelleration when you get on it.

Man I love this car...

JD, your very lucky. Here the cops will give you a ticket if you look at them wrong. Love hearing about the power in your car -- gives me something to look forward to in the winter :D

That is serious power for a Level II. It does make power pretty quickly down low and is running Level III times (first time out on a sloppy track). Very impressive.
