That was the first time I'd ever put ET streets on the car. It had the purner set-up with stock suspension, front sway bar, etc...

Joe impressive. What tires are you using for everyday use and are you having any traction problems with them? Have you tried the Hoosiers or BFG's yet?

Thanks,
-Lou

I was running pilot sports on the street. Just replaced the rears today. I spun out on GA 400 earlier this week and flat spotted one of the fronts, so those will be replaced within the week as well.

I can tell you that the stock pilots with 15k miles on them didn't do much for traction... the new ones feel pretty sticky already.

I'd like to get some BFGs, but that will need to wait a little while...

Thanks for the response Joe. I have the BFG's and they are much better than the stock Pilots. Have you tried the Hoosiers or know anything about them?
I wonder if they will fit the 18" rims and better than the BFG's?

If you guys have 17" Rims, I'd recommend khumo's!!

I just raced this C-5 yesterday at a light... Top of 2nd gear I had probably 10-12 cars on him.. Those tires grip!! Not ONE bit of spin... Guy in the Vette couldn't beleive it. I told him I was stock.. :)

Nope 18" would the Hoosiers fit them? I've been racing a ZO6 for sometime now and handing him his ^$$ :)

Thanks,
