The dealer wants $79,500 for the car. It is new. I have a Gen II so I have all the Viper I can presently afford. If interested phone Dan New @ 252-522-1616. The car is red and stickers for $84K.

Finally got it !

No, I would not agree, 400 miles on a dealer demo? Think about it. That's exactly the scenario I would be afraid of. 100 guys 4 miles at a time, hammering it. I would also be afraid of 400mi from a private party, could he REALLY resist getting into it if he was going to sell it, regardless of what the breakin instructions say? That's why a really new one would be interesting. AND the warranty would start right now.

Yeah that is a HUGE rip. One is currently listed with 8xxx miles on eBay for $61K. I have seen new 03's sell in the mid to low $60's now.
New cars for mid to low $60's? Where?
I can see a dealer letting go at $70 but I have not seen anything in the mid to low $60's

Vipr GTS:

Keep an eye out on eBay. They have deals ALL the time from dealers. I have called a few before and they are true deals since a friend of mine wanted a car. If I remember correctly there were a few at $65K or $66K asking. Not bad deals but they go FAST! The dealers just got to move them especially after two years on the floor. They are usually not Viper dealers and got in over their heads. I even had him looking at RT/10's and tried to get ones that there were deals on ($499-$560 leases for 30-36 months with little down) and they were gone immediately too. The deals do not hang around long. Just got to be quick.

Please post a link for the new 2003's at $69k +/-.

Thanks

That's not easy to do cause the one or two that I've seen vanish in an instant. One that I saw was at a dealer in the Atlanta area but it's no longer listed on any of the sites I visit. I have my eye on a few 2004's that are now getting down around 75K.
