I finally had some time to go out in town in the Viper...and had a friend shoot the car..


The Viper is matte black with matte red...

leaving it brushed aluminium would be more ******** IMO but your right black would look much nicer..

and I do have the acr-x canards and acr canards...just havent installed them yet..

Suprising for me, as I really, really like that! I would just change the side emblems to red, paint the silver pieces on the wing black, have the chrome exhaust tips Jet-Hot coated black and change the rim color to red, inline with the 1.33 ACR. Beyond that I think you have it. Those pictures are amazing. At night that Matte looks hot, but how does it look at high noon?

like you said..if the the silver pieces on the wing is going to be black then I would definately have to change the side emblems to red too..

as for the exhaust tip..Im not sure where I could get some Jet Hot coat in black..I thought of getting a red pinstrip on the wheels but still debating on it..

Is that a wrap or paint?

if its a wrap, my FE may have to go undercover for a few years...

I got my Belanger tips Jet-Hot Black Coated and handled by Jon B at Partsrack. Give Jon a shout and he will take care of it for you. The way they should have come, but that is just my opinion. I don't think the pin stripe on the wheel is the way to go and is kind of a fade. The full rim in a color has been around for a long time and will continue to be stylish in the long run. Your red is a little different from the 1.33 ACR so you will need to finish those in the red like your stripes, but do them in gloss as they will be easier to keep clean than matte. Also just a preference, but I would carry the strips through the license plate area. I know it is not original (only 1996) but looks 1000 times better.

Can't wait to see round two. Might as well Black Chrome that gas cap assembly too! Red stripes on top AND bottom side of wing would look great.

What time was it when you shot the tunnel pics? I'm guessing early AM or late to take advantage of less traffic so you could stop in the middle of the road.

pics where taken at about 9pm...the tunnel is the Losail track..

I ran the same color combo on one of old classics years ago,love it. I was in Doha a few months ago, wish I could've gotten out more.
