Yes you read it correctly, a few years ago I bought a showcase to better house some of my Viper stuff and decided to turn it into a shrine for VOI 11 memories
These are the pictures of how it currently looks (also houses the majority of my Minichamps GTS-R's), an identical one is in parts in the hobby room and just needs new glass plates because some are damaged and thus deemed unworthy of being used (it will eventually become a shrine for VOI 12 memories, just need to buy a few additional items to complete the picture in my mind).
Hope you enjoy the following pics and will find inspiration to make something similar yourselves! The first one shows the top shelf with a scale 1:12 JRL (not Anson) version of the black gen 1 that belongs to Jimmy from the NY/CT region who was my host for the duration of all 3 weeks.
Sneak Peek Room time schedule. Only "problem" is the group our table was in had red wrist bands and was allowed in together with yellow group I was heartbroken after discovering that I had lost mine upon packing our stuff to drive the 2000+ miles trip back to CT
In the back a Salt Lake City ice skating stadium hockey puck is visible as well as the VOI 11 thermo bottle and a Intrepid Air and Space Museum collectable coin.
The two collectable pins and key ring that I won during the sunday evening dinner. YES it needs to be dusted but between writing an extensive 4 part restoration report, work, and lots of other stuff there is just no time
Intrepid miniature, Statue of Liberty replica (made in China ), and the VOI 11 coasters that were part of the goody bag.
Second shelf, the Boeing 777 was the plane on my inbound flight and the 747 took be back home to Holland.
The Attitude Adjuster glass was acquired during one of the gas stops on our way to SLC, then there is the VOI 11 glass and Key To Adventure of Wyoming.
