Monte Sereno,Ca. is the new home for the First Daytona Limited Edition and it is on it's way to Apex in the near future to have a Corsa exhaust installed. Thanks to the folks at Apex for helping us out with this Limited Edition and N. California has some new members that are looking forward to a little socializing and track-time. The Second Car in the series ( 2001 ) is in stock now and we have 5.9% financing for qualified buyers.

I've seen a bunch of pictures, and we can't wait to see it in person. Believe me, we will take many pictures from every angle and post them on the board. After talking to Bill P. about the upgrades and prices, it sounds like a GREAT deal!
If anyone is interested in getting your hands on these limited edition cars, call Bill P and Woodhouse 800.889.1893; pricing and cusotmer service second to none!

I thought the first one was delivered to a guy in Virginia. I have seen it a couple of times on this web site. You are talking about the Autoform modified car aren't you? Hey how many #1's are there? Someone keep an eye on that guy from Blair NE. (he may have played hookey during grade school math class). (Just kidding Bill, say hi to Bob from me).

Bernie Katz owns the Prototype of the Daytona Edition. Daytona #1 had been on the showroom floor at Woodhouse Dodge. They have #2 there now.

Hey, Bill, isn't there a picture of the Daytona on Woodhouse's website? Why not give a plug for your dealership and give us the link? I'm sure everyone would like to see it.

Ken, Thanks for clearing that one up. Bill I appologize. Thought you had been sniffing exhaust fumes too long at the VD events.

Not any more, they don't

If y'all want to see it, we expect it to be delivered Saturday PM; I could set up a GTG on Sunday for gawking. It'll still have the stock wheels (see other thread) but should otherwise resemble the pictures.

What's this, a GTG to gawk at Ben's new addition. I'm always up for another excuse to drive the Viper around. Just name the place and time. BTW, congrats on the coupe. How does your wife feel about driving around what looks to be a full race car? I kinda figured you go the coupe route, but something a little more subtle ;)

Liz loves the look of the Daytona car. I hadn't realized she was as interested in the race car aesthetic, but when I showed her the picture she immediately liked it. As a married man, I wasn't about to let an opening like that get away

OK -- so I just spoke with Bill, and the car's headed out of Woodhouse this morning. That puts it in Redwood City late Saturday, so let's set up the GTG for Sunday to be safe. Needs to be somewhere with ample parking so we can line up the vipers and get some pictures. How about:

(ostensibly to gawk at the Daytona coupe)
Sequoia Shopping Plaza
1045 El Camino Real
Redwood City CA, 94063
2PM - 4PM Sunday October 14

Directions: from highway 101 get off at Woodside or Whipple. Go west to El Camino. From Woodside go North on El Camino; from Whipple go South. Either way, about 1 mile you'll see a large shopping plaza with a huge Safeway on east side of El Camino. We'll be in the row of parking toward the north end of the plaza, near Starbuck's.

I'll bring along my digi camera -- we should get some great group shots!

Please email me at [email protected] if you're planning on coming, so I know how many parking spaces to reserve!

Ben-
You are a sick man! You need therapy!!! If you need a good therapist for car counseling, I can refer you to several that I use now.....

We are finishing my car, for the finalized LETHAL 650 package. I wonder if we can get it done for Sunday too. Doubtful, but I'll try.
See you on Sunday!

I've promised my wife that I'll leave this car stock. One project car in the family is plenty

OK, so I'll end up putting smooth tubes & filters on it. Oh, and I'm changing the wheels. And swapping brake pads. But that's it. Err, maybe a new shift knob. And a CD changer. Nothing else. Honest!

The BTR NOS stuff is in Doug's capable hands, and I'm sure he'll find a good home for it. It'll help defray the cost of all that other stuff he's doing to my yellow RT. However... maybe I could put that left-over Fluidyne radiator on the red car. Hmmm. NO! STOP!

And Wayne, I hardly think you qualify as a model post-therapy case
smile.gif
You've modified, what, just about everything that isn't welded onto your car?? I do hope you can make it on Sunday.

So Ben, will THIS car remain stock for very long?? ;) What have you got planned for it? Very nice ride man!

Ya, I hear there's going to be an unused BTR Nitrous system laying around. It would be a shame for that to go to waste
