Hey GTS-R 001, isn't that your coupe concept?

YES,

I lent the prototype to the driver for the event, luckily only minor damage, and luckily he had the top on the car as it would have protected him better than any other top out there if he had rolled over ( integrated roll bar).

His car started to feel loose at 200 or so and he hit the brakes and Bamb! off the road, and through a barbed wire fence.

I think you are all wrong. The evo that went before him blew oil all over the road and the viper hit it while breaking. Shame on the organizers for not cleaning it up. I heard this story from someone that was at the event.

Gave me flashbacks of the Torquenstein crash from a few years back. [Gumball 3000] Driver is safe. Good. Could have been pretty bad. ***** if that Evo oil situation is true. Could have cost someone their life.

The driver never mentioned the oil, just that he touched the brakes and the ABS pulsed or something ( long time ago now)

Watch the evo run right before the viper in on the video. You can see smoke coming out from under the car. Fact.
Once again the ricers ruin it for everyone else.:omg::omg:

I've run that road at speed (170 mph) and frankly, it *****. Crowned way too high, asphalt in poor condition, too narrow and surrounded by some nasty barbed wire fences, rocks, sand berms and plants.

This guy was very lucky he didn't roll it - and Vipers are hard to roll.

Would never run that road at speed again.
