Well, I almost hate to suggest this (and its not rocket science either, you probably considered it) but do you have any specialty car sales dealers near you?
Places that sell show quality muscle and exotic cars, usually have a viper or two, and take trades...Of course, they usually don't give much for trades, but might be worth a converstaion. They also usually do consignment sales...
I feel your pain here. I decided I have to sell my 1973 'Cuda 340 4-speed car (totally restored) to get the $$ to buy my Viper. Luck was on my side, I posed to a Mopar only website in San Jose and sold the car in 2 days!!! Of course, now I regret it, but it got me into the Viper Nation!
