I really just super glued it back to the dried green epoxy...there was a large flat area of the green stuff under the clip and I applied the super glue gell to the old epoxy and then slid the clip in place...it worked very well, but there is not anything "pulling up" on the part I glued...

Randell, A friend of mine has a 2000 black GTS and the same thing happened.I went to the auto part store and bought some 2 part epoxy in a plastic type tube dispenser, 5 minute set time. Clamped it and it is still holding today even with all the weather changes here in Michigan. $5.00 fix.

Well, one of the little plastic pieces where my soft top mounts, attached at the top of my windshield, came completely loose and underneath was the green epoxy...I hate to admit what I used to fix it, here in front of the viper gods, but I also own a Cadillac, so I have plenty of this stuff laying around...Super Glue Gell, not the thin stuff, but the gell...three months later it is still tight, and I don't anticipate it ever coming off again...
