If you have to pull off the entire rear facia, mask tape the top of the bumper so you don't scratch it while you are pulling it off. I did this when installing my Hennessy wing.
Steve has a great tip. Also be sure that when drilling your supports through the body for the sub mount braces, that you use a good windshield silicon so that no moisture can get inside your car or add some corrosion to the steel mounting plates.
Also be sure that you have correctly marked off the centerline. A poorly installed wing will have a very dangerous affect to the handling of your car at the point where it is needed the most.
