need more power to join 10 second club

a few weeks ago at las vegas motor speedway (always poor prepped track except for nhra events) at the supra convention went 11.02et @ 129.8 mph. what do you think my next mod should be for under $1500?
i was thinking about doing the gas upgrade from btr to enhance the propane set-up i have now. is anyone on the board running the n2o-propane-gas from btr? i know i can get into the 10's with a better 60' but i want to get more power into the car. i have already ordered some 6an lines and was wondering what else i should do.

Trent,

You are already running enough MPH to run in the 10's. Sounds like a matter of traction.

The Gasoline upgrade will net you another 70-80 RWHP but if you can't get it to the ground, your e.t. will not substantially lower. Even with that said, you should have no problem running 10's with the NGP set-up.

There are several of my customers using the NGP system, whether they visit this forum and can comment for you, I don't know. Should you wish to speak with a few, feel free to contact me for their numbers.

Thanks For the reply Tom and congrats on your progess and your 9 second run. i will give you a call monday to see what you think about gas upgrade or two stage upgrade. seems like after that i would have to get heads and cams and i'll be joining the 9 second club. lol.

One important question is how much Propane are you feeding the beast? I think that your problem is amount of Propane, not nitrous. Make sure that you have AT LEAST 160PSI pressure in the Propane bottle.
I stepped up from 120 to 160PSI Propane pressure and gained 0.1 sec and 3mph trap speed.

I run my RT/10 Gen1 Viper with Headers + 3" cat less and a BTR Propane system, no other mods. The car does 11.85/120Mph without Nitrous/Propane.
With 150Hp NOS and Propane jetting does it run 10.90/129Mph.
