need to buy a new subwoofer for 2004

My subwoofer has blew and bit the dust. I have done the search and read the replies. It appears that the JL6WO 4ohms is what I need but no longer made or available. I'd like to keep the same housing and not fab one out of wood. Does anyone know of one that I can use and be happy with, or if you have your rear housing out, can you advise me of the depth and width measurements. Thanks all
