I have the ripper shifter and several of the people that I know that race or drive there car hard have the exact same shifter. I love the close ratio shift pattern, also I don't feel like I am driving my dad's 65 chevy with a broom handle anymore. Only challeng is that the first couple of months (until you get used to the close pattern and the feel for the gears) you may inadvertantly shift into the wrong gear especially under heavy throttle. Other than that one of the greatest investments I made (other that the car itself of course).

Shorten your throw is the best $$$.The ripper feels slightly smoother than stock.Haven't missed a shift in 10seconds.
