Here are some pics of my GTS with the new cold air box from Scott at Vipers by Elite. The pics of the car are the stainless version, but I just upgraded to the Ceramichromed version ( still on floor not installed yet )

That is so very nice. I love artistic AND functional engineering.
What's the difference between stainless steel and Ceramichrome? What exactly IS Ceramichrome? I've never heard of it.

When this topic was first discussed, like a month back, I recall that it is designed to handle any water that might get in. I don't recall the details now, nor can I find the original thread.

The box can actually handle a lot of rain, there is 2 water drains also these filters are very resiliant to water, short of submerging them.rain/water will not hurt.we are working on pricing for coating.but around 150-175 for the coating plus of course $895 for the system

Everyone, Thanks for the compliments on the car!

Motor 602, performance gains in comparison to what? Supercharged or not? Naturally aspirated with stock box or K&N's and smooth tubes? I'm sure Scott could give you a figure with some specifics. I can tell you one thing the gains are quite a few ponies more than my $1200 valve covers!!

Edmonton, The Viper, engine and airbox all look great. Thanks for posting pics. Scott does outstanding work and that airbox is a great compliment to the S/C. I just received my Vipermed Airbox last Thursday. Still sitting in the box in the garage. Can't wait to put it on.
