First off, a big thank you once again to Ken Smith of the Bay State Corvette Club for putting this fine event together. Once again, they did a first class job!

There were around 50 cars for the event, ranging from an old hotrod, to an S2000. The course was tight, but many clean runs were still managed overall.

The fastest time was posted by a shifter cart, and man could that thing fly! He posted a time of 58.*** However, since he wasn't driving a "car" he was not awared the fastest car trophy. That honor was given to Ken in his 'Vette with a time of 65.***.

Three Vipers showed up, but only one actually ran the course, and that was me. My first run (first ever AutoX) came in with a time of 76.*** with one cone being killed. My second run was 71.429 with one cone. I'm sure that if I could have had one more timed run I would have done better! Still not too bad for a stock Viper with a rookie driver

Only 6 seconds behind the overall leader. (yes, I know 6 seconds is a l o n g time)

Hopefully, more Vipers will show up next year, or possibly this fall when BSCC hosts yet another fine autocross!

Hey Don!

Sounds like you had a great time! I really wish I could've been there. It seems your yellow RT has an affinity for orange pylons. You'll have to pick up a can of that anti-cone spray for your tires.

I took a quick peek at your other photos from the event too. Lots of diversity in the cars that showed. And you had a gorgeous day for it too.

Count me in for New England Autocross II!

I am going to get straight to the point, if you don't mind.

TAKE OFF THE LICENSE PLATE, IT LOOKS LIKE A BIG CANCEROUS GROWTH ON YOUR VIPERS FOREHEAD.

Thanks,

ps. Do it now please.

Sounds like you had a good time at the autox. BTW did that early 60's ('65?) light blue Vette run? It looks really
