VCA / moderators / boardmembers?Viper owners want to see 1/4mile times and dyno #'s,to compare their viper and driving ability.I was thinking of top 50's list for full race;street radial;dyno#(Treynor).This would be fun and competitive for all!Maybe an e-mailed time slip would get you in.A sponsor or two could pick up the cost shirts if you make the top 10,bla,bla,ect.

Who really thinks of a n02 car as being N/A ? When we talk street/drag racing n/a = no power adder. Maybe there should be a nitrous category. It is cool though. (tnx,Don) Tony

SteveO,you guys caught me off guard at the meeting,my speech wasn't done!I'd like to hear more about ******* charity event being cancelled.Did the opposing parties donate the expected raised funds and give em to the kids anyway.That's wrong,I feel like MIKE TYSON,I B looking for an ear.

Here is what happened:

We had 2 GREAT events at the ******* in Downers Grove. At one of them we had 60+ Vipers. Anyway, since they had that great room, great service and they acted like they would like it to continue, we suggested that we would move the monthly meeting there. A handful of female members thought that this would tarnish the Club's image, and then the husbands followed.

I would still be for it for all the reasons above and a few others, most notably the LOCATION. I don't think we can find a better location in our area that offers all that this one does. Maybe we need to see if we can request a less ******** dresses server, this may reduce the objections from those that where offended.

What needs to happen is building a case to have it there and let the other try and come up with a better solution. I doubt that they can, so if you want to work with me on this I would love to take a stab at it! Let me know.

BTW, the unfortunate part was that we had raised a lot of money for the leukemia foundation, but since Mike Pierce moved we have not held event.
