New GTS ACR Owner in Geneseo IL

Figure I’ve introduced myself on the Facebook group, better do it here too?!

I purchased my 2001 Sapphire Blue GTS ACR on Monday, finally got to the DMV yesterday and have thoroughly enjoyed the car going to Cars and Coffee and putting a little over 100 miles on it today. Absolute perfection, it’s everything and more that I was hoping it would be and have been pinching myself all day.

I’d really love to track all the 2001 Sapphire Blue GTS’s, if you own or know someone that does please message me! Since there were only 216 sapphire blue GTS’s I’m planning to start a spreadsheet with all the VIN#s, mileage, etc…whatever people are comfortable with sharing, you can message me. I tried emailing the Viper Registry email to see if it had already been done and got back a send failure notice.

Jumping on VinWiki is a good source. There are a few different accounts that track Vipers and Vins. I track 2nd gen GTS ACR's whenever I find them online. Your car might already be on my list, if not, toss me the vin and I'll add it.

Congrats!!! Beautiful ACR. Good for you to track all the '01 Sapphire Blue's. There are about a dozen Viper's that individuals have taken on to track down, best wishes and hit all the viper sites including the various FB groups.

yea I started with VinWiki, disappointingly there was only 8 of the 216 sapphire blue GTS's (incl. ACR) on the site. I'd like to add more by VIN# but seems I have to have a photo of the VIN# plate, which is annoying! I've currently got a list of slightly over 30.
