A couple of suggestions
1. Keep the battery charged. Use Deltran brand product called "Battery Tender" (see Pep Boys et al). It won't over charge the battery. Many quirky bad tings happen due to a dead battery. Ask Little E about his battery at Daytona !
2. Watch the throttle in corners. Snap oversteer is a common problem and in the wet you will NOT catch it in time. Period !
3. High performance driving school soon if you can. Preferably one that uses Vipers. Check around. There's no substitute for seat time.
4. If you track the car, go to a high temp. brake fluid (AP 600, Motul, Super Blue, Performance Friction or Castrol SPF - - the latter being the best if you can afford it, I can't). It only takes the brake pedal hitting the floor at the end of a straight once to drive this point home cause you might not be driving your car home !
5. Watch out for driveway exits that slope downward to the street - - a sure fascia scratcher/breaker !
