Hello everyone I'm new here, and a new Viper car owner. See my dad pasted away & I get his 1995 black Viper. He loved the car as much as life it's self.
I want to take as good of care of it as he did, but my problem is that I'm not real sure on how he kept the exterior it so clean. I don't thinks it's ever been washed, only polished. My brother said to clean it down with lemon pledge, but I thought maybe you guys might be able to tell me if thats a good idea or not and how everyone else keeps there Vipers clean.
-Thanks so much.

Click Search above and type in "zaino". This will get you started in reviewing one of the favorite products here on this site. Mequires (cant remember the particular product line) is also one of the favorites. You can research that also. There has been intense discussion of these products on this site. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Keep that puppy shining like your father would have wanted.

Go to this website: http://www.autopia.org

Read/sign up/search this site and use the recommended products. And ask questions. This board is for Vipers, but that board is for finding out the best ways to wash your car.

They specifically make car wash soap and waxes for a reason. Use good car wash products, I'm sure your father did.

Do not use Pledge on a car, Pledge is for dusting furniture.

He most likely did wash it frequently, especially if he drove it. If it was a garage queen, then he probably dusted it (use a california duster) and polished it up with a detail spray and some 100% Cotton or MicroFiber towels.

I also have the full line of Zaino products and think they are great! Be ready to spend close to a couple hundred bucks on supplies if you are serious about keeping that car clean.

The Maguire's product is NXT. Read the previous threads, we don't want to touch off this whole topic again, it takes on a life of its own.

My condolences on your father.

I love Zaino! Be sure to read their web site for tips and tricks.

I also recommend a trip or two to Viper days. These cars WILL bite you if you are not very careful.

Good luck and welcome home :) :)
