Hi Everyone I just wanted to introduce myself. My nane is Dwayne and I am from Western Canada. I have always wanted a Viper so last years my Father and I went together and bought a 2001 yellow RT/10. We enjoyed it so much we decided to sell it to another Family member and we tried to get a new one which was not that easy up here but we ended up buying two new snakeskin green convertibles. It is hard to tell who is happier. I look forward to being apart of this site.

Congratulations on having TWO SSG Convertibles!

If you'll pick a VIN and put it in your profile (available via the User Control Panel), I can update your title from Enthusiast to Viper Owner. Or, you can send me your VIN in a PM and I'll take care of it for you!

And if you haven't considered it already, check out this thread for all of the awesome perks you get as a member of the best car club on the planet....The Viper Club of America!!!!

Welcome!

Joining in Canada might be a bit different so be sure and contact the Western Canada Club if you haven't already. They are a good group of Viper owners and you and your Dad may want to join in on some cruises or holiday parties coming up. Pictures?

There is a regional thread for Western Canada too but you can only read it unless you are a VCA member.

Washington has a nice fundraiser party coming up in early November. Information is in there.

SSG? I take it that you haven't been hangin' with the Western Cda VCA. My Uncle sent me pics from Mackenzie and I also received SSG pics from Prince George.

Anyway, we (VCA) had a get together in Kelowna last summer and it was a blast (Thunder in the Valley at Domestic Driver - A bi-monthly online magazine featuring Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, and GM Cars from 1980+) and we attended a Mission Charity Car show as well (also feature story in same mag). 10 couples attended VOI X with my wife and I driving to Detroit and back. Washington VCA often visits with us as well.

Where are you located?

Welcome, looking forward to meeting.

Not many Viper specialists in Canada, but we have some just south in Wash. Jonb (Online Shopping - Home) is a site sponsor and resides near Portland. Not only is he a Viper expert, he also does High Performance Driving Instruction at Portland International Raceway (as seen in Viper Magazine this issue).

Where in Western Canada?

I'm in Calgary and if Race City survives I can hook you up with a track day next spring if you want - and (IMHO) you should want!

I you have friend that has prop. at Nimpo you he'll probably be coming up as last week we had 90+mph winds and thousands of trees were blown over. Nearly every property was damaged badly and a few properties will never be the same. I had a junk Daytona crushed and my "family Heirloom" Outhouse is trapped under a tree, lucky it's not used anymore? LMAO

Anahim Lake was OK and I haven't heard how Charlotte Lake fared yet.

I've got a month of chainsawing to do now. Lots of firewood.
