New Motorweek Segement This Week on the Gen V

Just watched the new episode of Motorweek and it's another positive review for the Gen V. It was more of an impressions segment than a full test though. hey are claiming sub 3.5 0-60 but still no actual number

The music, camerawork and video effects are from 1994. Even the narrator has this 1994-ish sound to him

It was well done but my response to it was to feel that they were describing the death of what was the real beast. It almost sounded like someone decribing an old, somewhat wild friend who recently died. The Gen V is an incredible car but it will never be described with phrases like "barely controllable" or "watch out or it will bite you" or "its a driver's car that requires a good skill set." For most that is a good thing but in some ways it is sad to see the end of an era. Viper, as Dirty Harry, is gone. Viper as James Bond is here. Not a bad thing - just different.
