New owner looking for tires

I am very happy to say that I have just joined the ranks and picked up a 2005 Viper with only 5,000kms (I'm in Canada, that's only 3,100 miles). The car is in great shape, but the tires are original so I need to change them. I have tried my tire suppliers that I use for my business with no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations on a company that might be able to sell me some? I generally prefer to stick with original equipment spec tires but I am open to others if that's all I can get or if they are superior. Any ideas?

I think most will tell you to stay away from the original spec tires for the gen 3s as they were runflats that were not great. That being said, you can stick with the OE brand pretty easily and get some nice tires. The Michelin Pilot Supersport is a great tire and what I have had on my car pretty much since I bought it ~8 years ago. They are even really good in the rain if you happen to catch yourself in a downpour and I've driven them in near single digit temperatures without issue, though obviously with reduced performance. The stock runflats are super stiff sidewalls and don't make for the best performance tire because of that. I believe the gen 4 cars shipping with the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 on the standard cars and Pilot Sport Cup on the ACRs. The Pilot Supersport is basically a better version of the Pilot Sport 2 I believe.

I have a gen 2 and just replaced my tires from discount tires direct. I put a set of Nitto's on and I'm very happy. The trick is finding an installer that can handle a tire this big.
