new owner needs warranty advice

Intercity just delivered the gts. My first impression is WOW!!
took it up to 4000 RPM since it just broke the 400 mile mark,
but i get the drift of what's goint to happen at full throttle.

My question is this: The gts is a 1996 with a 5/75 service contract which expires in november 2001.
Can this contract be extended before it expires and if so how long can it be extended for?

Mark is correct. Extended warranties can be bought. A friend of mine just bought a 93 RT with 8000 miles and after some searching bought the DC extended warranty from a local dealer.

Not true!
I just added another 4 years 48k miles to my warranty. It CAN be done. My car is a 94 that was purchased in Nov 93, so it turned 7 years old last November. I extended the warranty prior to the 7/70 expiring. I have (and so have others) "extended the extended warranty". This is a Chrysler warranty, purchased through a Chrysler dealership.
