New owner

I made the plunge and I will be picking up my new Viper on Friday. I will post pictures when I get the vehicle. Can't wait to take it out for the weekend!

Also let the mods begin.

Any mods that I definitely should be without????? Where can I purchase accessories ? Please let me know and I look forward to sharing conversation with everyone.

Patrick - congrats on getting a snake, you're in for one fast ride.

On the mods...you may wish to ditch the stock exhaust (read: mega-heater) and miser 3.07 gears.
Get some seat time though and take in the experience. Paxton is always there should you desire to pump up the power.

Congrats on your new ride, you will fall in love. Welcome to the family. As for mods, you can do the K&N intake, Mopar Exhaust, and Gears. If you really want to get serious, order yourself a paxton supercharger after you have become well accustomed with 500 horsepower. As for accessories, look at the MGW stuff, they have lots of interior dress items you can add to the Viper.

You should definitely consider changing the shifter and exhaust. Quick and easy mods that will give you a meaner looking and sounding snake.

Thank you for the input. I will definitely look into those modifications over the next couple of weeks. I already placed an order with MGW..............its like a fever!!!!

Also I was just wondering what the break in period is, and how should I be driving the car for the first couple of 100 miles.

Welcome aboard... I would first get headers/exhaust work done.
