Hey Guys,

Looking for new rims and rubber for my 2009 ACR.

For rubber I definitely want the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup's

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup
295/30ZR18 94Y fronts (x 2)
345/30ZR19 105Y rears (x 2)

For rims Im considering these ADV.1's:

My question, can I go any larger on the rims / rubber or should I stay with stock size?

As well, what color would you go with? :)
My ACR is Grey with black hood / roof.

Im thinking about doing these rims in Satin Black.

Appreciate advice / opinions :)

Personally, I would never waste my money on sport cups Unless I felt obligated to subsidize rubber industry and frequently so. I would get the Michelin Supersports for street combo and dedicated track tires like Hoosiers on the OEM rims. The larger the rims, the heavier they are, something you have to figure out on your own.

If you wish to maintain performance, stick with the stock diameters. Your factory ACR wheels are very lightweight rotary forged wheels. If you want more visual impact, go with 19/19 or 19/20.

For a gray ACR with black hood, I'd go with a satin black center and transparent smoke outer lip. Not this wheel, but this color combo:

if you only drive the street then get pss. if you plan on doing street and track get sport cups, they are a much better track tire and will be fine on the street. unless you have significant track experience it will be foolish to get hoosiers. you wont have the skills to take advantage of the limits of grip, and street tires are much more forgiving to learn on.

I think you mean "graphite" colored ACR and the wheels you picked look good and the tires are right on. You have a max performance car, why lower it with lesser tires? The only reason would be rain or low temp driving. Added grip gives you an added margin of safety. Other choices? BBS LM's look amazing on Graphite/Blk Vipers. Just my 2c.

I like the lightweight Forgeline wheels for their styling and performance focus. Here is a set of 19/20 Forgeline GA3R-6 wheels in Satin Black. We can help you get a set of your own :)
