DC just announced yesterday that they are coming out with a quad cab version of the Viper powered SRT-10 Ram. Now you can take more passengers on a fast ride. However, you still can't tow anything with it though . . .
"We knew when we came out with the world's fastest production pickup that there would be customers who would want that same ultimate performance, but in a pickup that offered four-passenger seating and towing capability," said Dan Knott, Director — Street and Racing Technology (SRT). "So, the question was, 'Can we create a more usable truck for the person who wants to haul more stuff, but is not willing to give up performance?' Our answer is the Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab: a truck that is just as bad and bold in terms of performance, but a little more capable and versatile in terms of hauling."
I was told by the local Dodge dealer that they would not put a trailer hitch on a SRT-10 Ram and that DC recommended no towing with the vehicle. The explaination was that the suspension needed to control the high hp/torque engine made towing unsafe.
Well, that dealer being wrong cost him a sale! Too late now. Seems that Dodge should inform their dealers better.
How can DC announce another model for the Ram SRT-10 line, when they can't even fill their sold orders they have in the system now?! Up here in the Northeast the Ram SRT-10 is one of the hardest vehicles to get! DC is telling me that it may take TWO YEARS to fill all of my 04 orders! Don't hold your breath on getting one!!
"HEY DC how about filling your SOLD ORDERS before sending Ram SRT-10's to Dealers just for stock?"

Oh please...........someone put a damn hitch on that thing and lets get on with life!
IT'S A TRUCK!!
People put hitches on their Vipers!
If I had the desposable cash, I would buy one and put a hitch on it and pull my 25ft Haulmark. Piece of cake.
Now lets hear about all the warranty issues my comment made
