Silver for me, but not sure if changing the bum on the SRT10 really improves the looks, I still like the side on stock look.

the one on the silver srt looks a lot better than the black one. it flows better with the car and looks like its right out of the factory.

From what I understand, the black on is just a 1st draft prototype, so this thread should help them reconsider this look and work on something that flows better.

This is why I asked what you would want changed if anything, since they are molding it now. Speak up, for the perfect wing we could have in just a couple months!

By the way, while I also like the silver wing, it is priced more than 2X more than the black wing and you need to paint it. That doesn't mean I am not or have not considered buying that silver wing, but if thre was a similar alternative that was half the cost and came painted, it would be a no brainer for me.

To give you an example, I remember back in the old days when I wanted a rear wing for the RT10 and bought an autoform rear spoiler -- I think it cost $300 and it came painted red like my car! Now those were the days! The silver wing I believe is $2,000. As Viper owners we get used to high prices, but when you think about how you can get a whoile complete body kit for another car for less than that, it puts things into perspective. The price we pay for low volume.

Shouldn't the spoiler be such that it develops the appropriate amount of down force? Looks are one thing but I don't want my front end lifting at speed because the downforce is too high, nor do I want a non functional spoiler (i.e. no downforce).

I want it strictly for looks. A little downforce wouldn't be bad (say 100 pounds at 150 MPH) but you have to remember that I believe these wings are just mounted to the trunk, so too much downforce is like putting all that weight on the lip of that trunk. More than 100 pounds might be dangerous?

If you want downforce for racing, you should get a real wing that is adjustable -- perhaps something you can put on and take off the car after events.

OK, so not a SINGLE vote for the black one.

Next question:

What would you change about the black one (or silver one) to create the perfect rear wing for the SRT10?

Austin you photoshop monster, if you have some ideas and pics, please post them!

Manny, I'll see what I can do for you. Just for the record, my vote goes to the Henny spoiler. It looks much more agressive.

The Henny front clip looks a lot better too as it's all one piece vs. a bolted on look like autoform has. Are these the only two companies that have body kits for sale for the SRT10?

Hopefully autoform can redo their front splitter/fascia in the future, as I thnk it holds back a lot of potential sales.

Would be good to have multiple companies selling these things so that pricing is decent.
