Of course I couldnt leave it alone. Check my blog for all the details on this PS, and to see some of my other work. The original of this pic is also posted there. Edit: Added black.

I tried to resize the images but I don't know how, can anyone go on google and get 96 GTS side view and an SRT-10 Coupe side view and make them the same size to compare the three?

After seeing all 3 Gens. I'd have to say the Gen V is the best design, because the rear glass doesn't wrap around. :2tu: Thanks Austin.

DAMN IT! That blue is sick Austin. And I too love the way the back glass doesnt wrap around. Guess I will be on the hunt for a gen 5 some day.

That pic reveals what a terrible design the SRT Coupe was. I love the ACR and what it accomplished but man, what a boring car.

Surely you jest? Plenty fine to say its not as attractive, but boring it is not! I think you've confused it with a Corvette ;)

It is interesting to see them side by side by side! They all have their angles. The Gen V seems to enjoy every angle though!

Cool renderings Austin, I was one of the guys that donated to you years ago, keep up the good work.

For others..... so I was looking a the different generations in Austin's pic, here's a quick mark-up of what I like and not, so I've designed car bodies, some of my supercar work has been on the cover of Road & Track, so this is just my worthless scribbled opinion on a forum........ ok.... just sharing my thoughts, which others may see as well, if obvious...... it's just a subjective opinion.

The earlier Gen GTS, it always bugged me how some curves don't flow across the car, many features seem to be independent, the hatch glass curvature being an afterthought (as we know it was.....), rocker, but there's some good and bad. Ultimately, I think that the new Gen SRT is fantastic, very nice curvature flow, better communication from the fascias, the roof, etc.. only having an issue with a few minor aspects....

May have to scroll up to see what I was describing in the color pic Austin posted, just printed this out in grey scale so I could mark it up.....

These comments are just the basics of the side view..... can do more if interested...

Cheers,
Mike

Decided to add a GEN II GTS gas cap. This is what they should have done, IMO. Also reversed the 'GTS' emblem and watermarks to the proper direction.

...Now I'm convinced. It's your personal mission to force me to sleep on the couch for a year. As always, great work.

Lol I'm going to live vicariously through you for a year or two before I pick one up:D (as usual) :D
