While the molds are being made on my TA spoiler for G3 and G4 Coupes I decided to finally put to bed my ideas for a TA style spoiler for the SRT Convertibles. NOt only is this spoiler a TA style spoiler but it will be changing the rear upper part of the deck lid back to replace the rear third brake light with a Coupe style brake light lens that will allow your stock brake light to shine through and give the Coupe look to your car.

Here are a couple of progress pics of the making of this spoiler, I will post some pics of the rear tomorrow as that is till being shaped and the present state will not do justice to the final outcome.

I am still working on the ends, but as you can see it is taking shape nicely

To the guys replying to this thread... All of you must be new or out-of-the-loop. Steve will NOT reply to this thread. In fact, "production" of said spoiler has probably ceased. Any of you noticed that Steve is still replying to other threads, but has not even made one other reply in this one since he made it, though many of you are asking for more info, pictures and updates in general? Steve has no intentions on getting back to any of you, much less this thread. This is how Steve works. Go do some research. ***** to see how Steve works. Gets everyone interested in something and then drops off the face of the earth. Lack of customer service makes me beg the question, why do people still purchase anything from him or even pay attention to his threads? Im sure some will whine about my post, hell it'll more than likely be deleted, but for those of you who read it and know how this game works, you understand what Im talking about.

Any updates, also would like to see the outcome.

I've been tweaking this a bit, to make it an overall perfect item, I have a lot of profiling and contouring to do to the rear to get it the way I want it,

and add to that, my 11 year old was attacked from behind at school on Monday AM during his recess and had his arm snapped by a ****, He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and after being stabilized for the rest of the day and pumped full of morphine, the had an orthopedic surgeon brought in and my son underwent surgery for a a few hours Monday night to get his arm set. It has been touch and go since with swelling and blueness and pain for him since and I haven't been able to answer all posts in all threads for a few days.

Austin, whether he replies or not, at least he is out here doing something for viper owners. Sure it may take some time, but let us understand that he has a business, a family, and multiple projects going on at once. He is 1 person, and certainly not omni present. Even so, he has never failed to answer any of my questions, whether it be about this, the gen 5 bumper coming for the 3/4, or the twin turbo setups. Steve hasnt let me down, and he has my support, i suggest for you to look at the big picture here.

Austin,

I do this in the REAL world, not just in photoshop,

Do you remember when I offered to actually make something you designed years ago and you disappeared... failure to launch I guess?

Anyways, how about you put your time and efforts towards actually accomplishing something for yourself for a change, at least before they ban you again.

Actually, thats another Steve story. You didnt actually want to make something I had designed, you wanted me to help you with Photoshops and then of course you'd try to implement it. I didnt jump on-board because I knew where that would go. Nowhere. I know how to make things in real world as well, but I am good at Photoshop and like to dabble in it. I do not make open-ended promises. Anyway, your last comment is way off base. Probably should know more about a person before you go making ASSumptions.

I understand making things takes time, but do you really want to go back and dig into all of your failed threads and promises from the past here and at the Alley? That would just be the tip of the gigantic iceberg. Didnt think so.

Anyway, Im done. I dont have time to argue all of this. Just thought Id open some eyes (try at least) of the n00b's here. Hope your son is doing well. BTW, I like the idea for the vert spoiler (GEN V inspired). If you can actually get these made and out to customers on time, Im sure it'll be a big hit. I might even buy one. I'll need to see pics before-hand with happy delivered and installed customers on the other end!

Have a good 2014, Steve.

I think it would be beneficial to Steve to publicize parts availability when they are available. Teasing and dropping it for an extended period of time causes doubt and loss of interest. At least keep periodic (often) progress reports, and keep in touch on your posts even if there is nothing to report.

So, I must re-iterate, no personal attacks please. We don't need another Steve bashing thread resurected from the dead. We have had several dicussions with Steve, there are always 2 sides to every story, he is man enough to admit when he screws up, and you guys need to work with him directly...

Why don't we ban Steve, are your memories that short that you have forgotten about JonB? Come on guys, you're aduts, you can make your own choices...

Early January you said this would be the way it would play out. I was optimistic, I like the idea of this item and was anxious to see it come through as a finished piece. Alas, you are correct, no updates. I am still interested and still am anxious to see it finished.

Hey! Maybe just like the magazines it will finally get here. LOL (For those that were watching the other thread) :lmao:

What's with all the internet bullies on here? Don't criticize until you can do better yourself.

Most people on this site don't know squat about cars let alone the process it takes to build the parts that he is WHILE running an international business and raising a family. I'm sure Austin probably can't even chew and think at the same time. It doesn't take a lot to have money and let everyone do all the development and testing for you to just park your toy in the garage and drive it in the slow lane because your dick hides in your stomach every time the tires chirp.

I've had experience with MULTIPLE shops that modifying cars is their livelihood. That's their sole income to put dinner on the table and they miss 90% of their completion dates. My z06 took 6 MONTHS to have its custom engine build and tuned. My Supra took 3 months to have a fuel system installed. It took 2 week to have hood pins installed on viper. It took 5 months to have my z06 painted. I could go on and on! So now I do everything I can on my own. Here you guys are ******** about something custom that NO ONE else makes and your car can run without. Look up how long it took for Lexus to develop the LFA!! Building cars is their industry and they even delay their cars!!

It's pretty pathetic to sit here and watch people ridicule a man that does more for other people and this community than the person ******** who should probably own a Prius. I will forever be thankful to the individuals who helped finish my car but there's some serious D-bags on this site that ruin the car communities reputation. It's pretty pathetic!

Austin, no one owes you anything and you're not special no matter how much that ****** tells you otherwise.
