Must eat:

Peter Luger
Gramercy Tavern
Babbo
Nobu
2nd Avenue Deli
Carnegie Deli

For fun you might want to drive out and try Nathans on the Boardwalk in Brooklyn

And about another 50 restaurants.....

How much can you afford?

Mets--Yankees game? Broadway Play? Knicks playoff game? Scores? NY has everything, it's just a matter of you likes and dislikes. I'll let the real NY guys hook you up, I've been there dozens of times, but no expert.

Just me and the misses

We have booked seats already for a play

1-5 rating price 1=lowest 5=highest i would say 3.5 -4.5

I am not into sports(go ahead and slam me)
I was so bad at sports they wouldn't let me warm the bench. They would forfeit a game before allowing me to play.So at age 12 my parents put me into dirt track race cars.

I am staying at the Marriot so something close to it walking distance.

Thanks again for the info guys

If you are looking for steak, word is Peter Luger is AMAZING but the reservation line is LONG. A place I go to for steak all the time is DYLAN PRIME:

www.dylanprime.com

Great food and a nice atmosphere. Right in the heart of Tribeca.

ROFLMAO! :D ;) :D
Near the Mariott would be the theatre district. Moderate priced walking distance...OK:
Churrascaria Plataforma (Brazillian-cool place)
Orso (Italian)
Becco (Italian and a bit less expensive-excellent food)
RUBY FOO'S (Chinese-good but not great food-beautiful &fun place)
Carnegie Deli (landmark, loud, gruff...great fun)

I have had all 3 Ben Bensons / Palm & RC, I like RC but just not here in NY,

Ben and Palm are both good.

I will repeat Peter Luger is going on legend, I am in sales and entertain all the time, Peter L's is off my list now.
