Hello Jersey Members,
I am working on scheduling some "mini-events" for next year. The intent is to compliment the great agenda that we already have with some 1/2 or 3/4 day events.
I would really appreciate your feedback on these ideas - tell me the ones that are great, the ones that ****, and post any new ideas you have.
1. Horsepower (Polo Style) - We would do a cruise up to the Greenwich Polo grounds in Greenwich, CT. About 1 1/4 hour drive from Morristown, NJ. We would watch the match (and the rich people), drink Champaign and eat caviar. We would have reserved parking. Bring your spouse event. Total cost would be $30 per car.
2. Weird NJ - We would cruise to 4 or 5 weird NJ locations and check things out. Considerations are the zero gravity road, abandoned insane asylums, and other weird spots.... only on paved roads of course.
3. Highpoint - We would take a cruise to the highest point in NJ. Check things out... and people that can handle heights (I can't) can climb to the top of the Highpoint monument and see all the way to England (seriously).
4. NJ's Best - We would drive the best roads in NJ, like famous Clinton Road, sections of 46 along the Delaware, and others.
This is just the start... Tell me some other ideas. Give me ideas of when the best times of day are too.
