Hello my friends,

you know that i went to Monaco a few days ago for my first Viper "long" trip.

I heard a noise from approx 125 mph. It appears like tyre noise, like 'wooomm wooom' but no apparent vibration.
Is like when you drive ATV on asphalt street..
Rear tyres are NEW and front tyres are in good condition. Pressure was 2,5 bar.

:dunno:

Noise could have been from the surface. Imperfections on the road surface can lead to vibrations and sounds. Honda or Acura, can't remember, actually did a car commercial where at certain speeds the road noise will produce melodies. Some towns have used this method to control speeding.

i thinked it but i tried in different streets and same noise.. Could be oval front tyres? This car has been stopped for a long time..
Wheel bearing too..but my Viper has only 9000 miles..is possible?

That sounds like a very likely cause. Or flat-spotted due to a panic stop. (If you don't know their history.)

Very carefully load and unload cars suspention by swerving car back n forth to see if noise changes. If so i suspect hub bearing. Flatspoted tires will vibrate. Oddly worn tires will also sound like hub bearing
