60 degrees, calm winds, blue sky. Man does it feel good! Weather has been so crappy the last few weeks that I forgot what having the top off felt like!

Nothing like it.... I want to head to the mountains for some twisitie runs right now!

Man how ironic, the weather here seems to be getting to the point where I have to put my RT away (for the summer). This year was great, there was maybe a total of 10 days that I couldn't have driven it.

That´s on the autobahn...me, 140 mph...I changed to the right lane to see whether the RT/10 will go for 150-160 mph and pass me ...

I drive mostly in the fall and spring, here in so cal I can even drive in the winter. Rain doesnt really start until mid January and the heavy rain is in March/April. This year I think it rained 5 days total so to be safe I doubled it to 10 days of no Viper driving. In the summer its just too hot (I dont use the hard top) so I drive it less. I tend to not drive if the temperature is above 85-90.

RUSS, I think he means LA the state not the city.

Herr Reinhardt, do they make you have the plate up so high on the front? Here in Maryland I have to have a plate on the front. I mounted it low. I think it's not quite so bad mounted low.

Ah.

To me, 50-60 is a heat wave (ish). At least up until the 98 + humidity during July/Aug. Average temps looks like this:

J F M A M J J A S O N D
0 10 20 30 40 40 105 105 40 30 20 10.

Quite ridiculous if you ask me.

I took the top off a few days ago, and it hasn't gone back on since. It's been nice, in the 70s-80s most of the week.
Sunny and blue skies.
But the weather earlier in the year has been spotty, with sun and rain in the same day sometimes.
Oh well, that's winter for you.

-Dean.

I get my rain fix with a hardtop and vmania windows velcro'd as tight as they will go LOL. Very little drips when weather is not so nice.

However, leaving the sliders open while parked for 2 hours is a no-no

didn't do anything, just some drips on the door.

I DON'T like the plate too, but the dealer I have bought the car used mounted the plate and I am thinking about removing the whole "thing"...

Viperzilla:
>>>Mr. Reinhardt, It's a little dangerous taking pictures while driving 140MPH. May I suggest the next time you attempt this feat, have me in your passenger seat to take the photos! Sean<<<

Sean:
We are used to drive fast on the (empty) autobahn....

YES, and the RT/10 passed, however the picture I took during passing is not good enough to publish - at this speed I do NOT look through the camera
laugh.gif
- just a click.
