I bought one two days ago after my service engine soon light came on. I have to figure out where to plug it in. I guess it's underneath the dash somewhere. Hopefully it's easier to reach and operate than installing the Roe clutch mod (that was a back killer.)

I went with one from Roe. A little more money ($54 I think), but I felt more secure knowing it would work for my car. The plug is on the drivers side kick panel just about where you would expect to find a hood release if we had one. Easy to find once you look.

Someone told me once that this one at Harbor Freight is the same one Roe uses for less???

Might be, but try calling Harbor Freight to help with any tech issues.

I purchased mine from Roe, actually, and its identical to the one from Harbor Freight. I do completely agree with supporting Roe, but I don't think he's going to miss the $15 from this sale. As far as tech support, what tech support do you require for a OBDII reader?

I have an OBD but lost the code book when I moved. Anyone know where to get one or a possibe website?

There are codes in the back of the Service manual, page 25-3 thru 25-11. If you don't have a manual, get one. It is absolutely invaluable :2tu:
