Off/On Punch during accelleration

I have a 98 gts and just recently had headers and pipes installed. It has had more than ample time for the computer to adjust to the new system. Here's the problem...After the pipes went in I definitely noticed a huge difference when I would punch it. But then sometimes I hit WOT and it just accelerates nicely but without my spine breaking. Why isn't my spine breaking all the time. Inconsistent fuel/air, timing??

Probably has more to do with your inaccurate butt-o-meter and the outside air temp, than a car problem

BTW what HRE's do you have?

No problem with the butt-o-meter

...If I double punch it (ie accellerate to 20 then slow then hit it again) it takes off the way it's supposed too the second time. A definate increase in torque. Maybe one throttle body lagging???

My HRE's are 18" 543's. I'll post pics soon (they look very nice, but I'm only slightly bias)
