I just did my 2nd oil change at 2237 miles. I supplied the oil and the SRT filter and the dealer charged me $9 to change it and do a 3K service, not a bad deal. At these rate I don't know if I can justify $40K + a lift for a garage.

I looked at the SRT Filter real close and noticed that the inner metal material has a shine different from any other filter I have looked at. I am curious what grade of metal it is and why is it shiney?

I changed my oil at 500 miles and went with a Bosch 3410. Car still has less than 1000 miles, I have
noticed since the change that my oil pressure runs 90ish psi first thing after a cold start and then for
the next 5 to 10 min, after the car is warm it runs 60 to 70 psi, I don't remember what the pressure
was with the stock filter. What pressure are the rest of you seeing? 2009 Coupe by the way.
