I never noticed my oil pressure being this high. At cold idle=80, warm idle=55 and then any increase in rpm and it pegs to 80. First time i've noticed this and i have 6k miles driving it.

Our 03 does about the same...using Mobil 1 10w-30.

pretty sure the viper tech uses mobil1, don't knoww the weight

those are the same pressures my 03 used to run
Main bearings changed in 05 to 180 degree mains from 120 in order to address oil starvation issues at rods. this is the reason for the higher oil pressure at idle

I have been told that the 03 oil gauge is not calibrated perfectly and that this was corrected from 04 on.
