Oil sending unit leaking.

Is this a common problem with Gen 2, the rubber plug and wire that connects to the unit keeps getting pushed out when oil pressure starts rising from startup, then leaks. Is this a blown out oil sending switch?

Mine started leaving a couple drips in my garage last summer and i replaced it. Well, i think there is two oil sensors there. The lower one being the dummy light switch(mine was leaking) and the upper one being the oil pressure sensor.

Kind of a pain to get the old one out and I was planning on replacing the oil pressure sensor as well but couldnt get to it....

Mine did the same thing. Oil coming out of the wiring side.

Did Replacing the sending unit fix the problem? Or is the wiring side in of need of replacement?

I sprayed the wiring with contact cleaner(to get the oil off of it), replaced the sending unit and it was all fixed.
