Looking to see if there are any oil starvation concerns when tracking the 02 GTS? Any recommended upgrades? Thanks.

Singlemalt,
Who sells the accusump kit for the Gen 2? Where does the resivoir sit?
The Accusump went in the tunnel, mounted on the belly plate, with a braided hose going back to the oil filter adapter, check valve to keep it from pumping into the pan, solenoid, pressure switch, and on/off switch hidden in that a/c vent under the steering wheel. Dave Jenkins installed mine, and he did a great job. Wish he still had a Viper shop in Orange County![/quote
it will also fit between the frame and engine. This make everything more compact and gets out of harms way.
I think you'll be OK without any further mods, unless you're running a 3/8 oval or something like that where you're constantly seeing alot of sideways g's. I was fine with my Gen 2 on road courses like Road Atlanta and Barber...where you have a few sweeping turns but not continuous sideways g's.
The accusump is always a good idea, for protection in the case of low pressure if nothing else.
Joseph, if nobody else from this thread buys yours, I may be interested for the race car.....if I can find a frikkin place to put it!![]()
I believe I have a picture (Gallery) of the accusump mounted between the engine and the frame. It flts perfect. Kind of a side benefit, when I installed aftermarket valve springs and 1.7 rockers the rockers would clatter if the car was not driven for a few days. The accumsump eliminated that issue.
