Ok, since some of you will not be at VOI, here\'s our Gen3 / Ram SC .....

Hi Everyone,
We're debuting the kit at the show, but here's what it looks like for those of you who won't be there.
This is the one of two Pre-Production kits built so far, which are no longer in the prototype phase. We have not run this kit on the car yet, but will begin testing and tuning when we return from VOI.
The parts on this system are fabricated and welded by hand, where the final production parts may be cast.
Hope you all like it.

Since the kit will be going on new cars and trucks, yes, we're going to persue it.
It would not be easy to get certification with larger fuel injectors than stock and using a different manifold. Using a programmable engine management system (the VEC2) would not allow it to get certification. But, we want to make sure there's enough fuel and full tune-ability available for higher HP output.
We probably could use the smaller stock injectors, turn the boost down and take out the VEC2 to get compliance, yet offer a "tuner kit" for off-road or demonstration purposes only use for those who wanted it.
That would probably do it.

Regards,
Sean

Question: putting all of this extra torque to the SRT-10 differential, what's the mod (or mods) to make the differential last?

I've been told these new diffs just can't take the power.

I've had a diff replaced already (at 4900 miles), and my car is bone stock.

As it stands now, we're hoping to keep the kit at about the same price as the current Gen1 and Gen2 production kits.
We'll just have to see where we end up in development and production costs when complete. At this point, we have 785 hours in the project with many more hours to go.

ETA on a production unit, let's say "late winter" :)
Too early for an actual deadline. However, we're going to start taking orders at VOI so we can begin to judge interest and see what kind of production volume we're looking at (the more we can build on a run, the lower they cost everyone).

Regarding the diff and CV axles, yes, most likely an upgrade will be needed as people have been having them fail even stock (us included). The good news on that front is, other companies already have that in the works.

Sean
