I think its cool as hell.

If you get into a bind with Engine Management, let us know. Dealing with the OE G4 harness and PCM may be more headache than its worth in that application, as it is in nearly all Resto-Mods using Gen-3 and especially Gen-4 drivetrains.

Absolutely.

Here is an example of a Viper Standalone set up for install in the Rolls Royce from the other thread:

Looks good Dan what else will I need to run the engine. The guy who I bought it off had an ecu built at a cost of $4500 but as yet I have not seen it.

The Gen-4 would require a slightly different path on the ECU, but would still end up being very much the same as shown above, albeit a good bit more complicated. Other than shown, you would of course need all of the chassis-side wiring to integrate, Solid State control relays, basic fuse block, fuel pump/system, and you would need to decide whether to retain the Drive-By-Wire [Needs accelerator pedal & possible ECU DBW software upgrade depending on ECU], or go Mechanical, which would not need the pedal, but run an alternate wiring harness design, and require our custom 5-axis Billet Throttles and manifold modifications to operate.

I can tell you however, at 4500 it is no surprise that the product was never delivered. That would not cover the cost of any custom standalone ECU and hardware for a Gen-4, let alone the labor to assemble it.

How much do you think I am looking at Dan if you supplied all I need. I have the pedal assemble for the drive by wire which is fiited in the car.

Please E-Mail me [[email protected]] with as many specifics as possible as to what systems will be in the car that are engine related, what may be attached, rough ECU location, where you would prefer the harness meets the engine, other details, etc and I will put an estimate together.

Also, include the intended gauge layout. You will likely need tee'd in secondary sensors for mechanical gauges, or we can source some gauges that will work with the ECU and sensor type already being used -some may not be available however- or easiest yet, if a "tech" solution is doable, we can offer configurable digital displays that can be integrated in the dash, eliminating the need for any gauges in the car. These displays can mimic analog gauges if so desired.
