The '96 Coupes had that problem when they first came out. A recall upgraded the hose clamps.
OK, this is the 2nd time the heater hose blows off the heater connection

What the heck is going on, every time I get on to some heavy acceleration, I blow the heater hose off the top of the heater and blow antifreeze all over the engine compartment and the right side of the car! Has anybody else had this happen to them? I have those squeeze open compression clamps on the hose, and I am putting a screw clamp on the sucker now. I just got the antifreeze re-done to -25 degrees, last night at the dealership, and pop, here it goes again. Lucky I live near where it happened, so it did not overheat, but I have got a mess to clean up.
Any other suggestions?

Yea a new hose clamp is what you need. Mine did the same thing, those squeeze clamps get old I guess
